Being that the St Jude Retreats offers an alternative to traditional drug rehab we teach the Saint Jude Program which you will focuses on you taking accountability for your actions, choices, and behaviors which will empower you and build hope for your future. When you realize that it is your choices and behaviors that have you to this point, the good news becomes that you change your behavior and go on to live the lifestyle you wish to. Unlike other Drug Rehab Facilities, you are a gust in our home. You will be treated with the utmost respect. Treatment should not be a punishment; you are not a bad person. In recent surveys preformed by The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), 1,714 or 2.3% of Colorado's 76,657 Drug and Alcohol abusers that admitted themselves into treatment for Heroin. Not including the 6,701 state residents who admitted themselves into treatment for either opiates or more that one drug. Studies also show that 116,000 or 3.1% of Colorado's citizens reported needing but not receiving treatment for illicit drug use in the past year. There were also studies that showed 2.8% of high school adolescents had used heroin at some point in their lives. Mexican black tar heroin is the predominant type of heroin found in Colorado and is available in the major metropolitan areas. Mexican brown heroin is also found, but to a much lesser degree. Various law enforcement and treatment indicators suggest that heroin availability and use may be on the rise in Colorado.
