Georgia Heroin Abuse Non Treatment Center

Saint Jude's Has Helped People with Heroin Addictions For Over 20 Years

If you have been told you are diseased because you are currently using heroin call Saint Jude Retreats now. Over the last 80 years the treatment industry, which includes most Drug Rehab Facilities in the United States have been searching for this disease, searching for the gene of addiction, with absolutely no success at all. They have also concluded that addiction is a brain disease, and accordingly needs to be treated as such. Saint Jude Retreats is diligent about reassuring Georgia residents that addictions are not real.

Studies in Georgia have shown that 175,000 or 2.5% of Georgia's citizens reported needing but not receiving treatment for illicit drug and alcohol use in the past year. In other studies preformed by The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), 566 or 1.8% of Georgia's 31,233 Drug and Alcohol abusers admitted themselves into treatment for heroin. There were also studies that show 2.4% of high school students had used heroin at some point in their lives. Heroin availability remains stable throughout Atlanta. Seizures of street level amounts of heroin attest to the pervasiveness and the availability of the drug. Although heroin trafficking at times appears relatively low and stable throughout most of Georgia, there are regions where heroin abuse appears to be climbing. The sources of supply reportedly are located in Chicago, New York, and at the southwest border. The Atlanta High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area report indicates more Hispanic involvement in heroin trafficking. Local law enforcement agencies in some outlying metro Atlanta counties indicate that heroin is becoming an increasing problem for their jurisdictions.
