Private Alcohol Rehabilitation

A person who is struggling with an alcohol addiction many times is embarrassed or is in denial that they have a problem and try to hide their addiction from friends, family and loved ones.  A person who makes the decision to attend a Private Alcohol Rehabilitation Facility versus attending a regular rehabilitation facility is under the false pretense that they can hide their addiction.

A Private Alcohol Rehabilitation Facility still treats the person attending as if they are sick, diseased or ill and that they need to be on medication to help fight their demons.  This approach only masks the situation and does not get to the core of why the person started abusing alcohol to begin with.

A person needs to understand that they need not be embarrassed that they have an addiction problem and whether they choose to attend a Private Alcohol Rehabilitation facility or not, they have to take control of their life and not blame anyone else for their addiction. 

The Jude Thaddeus Program respects each person’s privacy and understands that each person deals with their addiction in a different way.  At no time are they made to feel uncomfortable and they are free to express their thoughts, ideas and views and not told how to live their lives.  The person is taught, not lectured or “preached” to about making the right choices and how to be happy.  There is no false pretense or any hidden agenda. 
           
Private Alcohol Rehabilitation facilities are staffed with doctors, counselors and therapists, again on the premise that the person is sick, which is not the case.  The person is prescribed medication, sees a doctor who monitors them daily and meets with a counselor who assesses how they are doing.  When a person leaves the facility, they are still on medication and they are told this is necessary for them in order to function on a daily basis and they are instructed to set up weekly meetings with their counselor.

Our program is a six week program that shows each person that they alone are responsible for the choices that they make in life and that they do not need to rely on medication, counselors or doctors to get them through life.
