Methamphetamine is reportedly the primary drug threat in the state of Georgia. The drug is mainly available in northern most and central locations within the state, and is becoming more and more popular in south-western areas. Most of the Methamphetamine that is available throughout the state has been smuggled across many southern states from California and Mexico by criminal organizations. The locally produced substance although, remains 99 percent pure, while imported substance seems to be much less pure. This is most likely due to the fact that the Mexican produced substance comes from so far that smugglers may dilute it so that they can distribute a larger amount.
