We are here to HelpA growing problem in Indiana is Methamphetamine use, and although the problem is not as large as the cocaine issue in the state, it is growing at a rate that it may soon rival the problems posed by powered cocaine. The issue has become more apparent in the south western regions of the state, particularly in Evansville and Terra Haute. Law enforcement agencies report that Crystal Meth abuse is high among adult middle class caucasions, although it is also becoming popular with many teens in rural areas. The increased availibility along the border of Indiana and southwestern regoins has created a great decline in the price of the drug, although it is availible at relatively low purity levels (under 10 percent pure). The number of labs siezed between 1999 to yaer 2000 more than tripled and most of what is availible has been produced locally. Independent dealers and motorcycle gangs also import the drugs from california and mexico on a much lower level.

Coming to the Saint Jude Retreats was a defining moment in my life. I am forever grateful for the respect and dignity the staff has shown; and more importantly the confidence they have instilled in me.
