Saint Jude's Long Term Program

Adults

Do you believe that you or a loved one needs long term alcohol treatment or drug treatment? There is a better way:

For Some Adults, the transition to mature adulthood can be extremely difficult and emotionally trying. Some call it the mid-life crisis wherein people begin to question their lives, struggle emotionally, lose their self confidence and/or can't seem to "put it all together." We have helped thousands in this very situation make it through this transition and find new self-confidence and meaning in life.

The St. Jude Personal Review and Enhancement Program (P.R.E.P) can help individuals regain self-confidence and purpose again, as well as find new focus in life. Whether it is finding the courage to change careers, renewing family commitments, working through a tough marriage situation, or gaining new enthusiasm for life; these programs were designed to help bring newfound passion and excitement to life. Returning home should not be scary, it should be an exciting event, coupled with a clear set of goals and plans for a renewed lifestyle!

St. Jude's offers program options so each and every guest returns home prepared!

Option #1 - St. Jude's 3-Week Program Extension:

St. Jude CE Program (Continuing Education Program)

The St. Jude P.R.E.P begins after completion of the 6-week St. Jude Program. Over the last twenty two years of helping thousands find greater purpose and drive in their lives, we have heard certain guests say things like, "The six week program has been life changing, but I just don't feel ready to go home." These guests simply need more time at the retreat in a structured program setting so they may lose their self doubt and fear before they return home. For some, the emotional stability is not yet consistent; nagging thoughts of worry and self doubt might still plague them. Those experiencing mid-life struggles may need more detailed help with marriage and parenting issues, dealing with chronic health problems, or just more time to find their new "purpose" for the next stage of adulthood. Some may need to continue to work through past emotional issues and reverse poor social habits, or let go of guilt so they can return home a different, more positive individual. For these individuals, the extra time at the retreat can be the difference between success and failure.

St. Jude P.R.E.P - Added Services

While many guests in this age bracket return home to a successful future based on the goal sets they formed during the 6-week St. Jude Program, some in this demographic need guidance that deals specifically with finding a new career or in returning to college to complete a degree (or going to a university for the first time to build a base for a new career or lifestyle.) For these individuals the following program features are completed over a one-week time period:

  • Aptitude tests
  • College transcript requests
  • College applications
  • FAFSA/financial aid
  • Cover letters
  • Resumes
  • Job searches
  • On-line resume posting
  • Interview skills
  • Legal situations
  • Housing concerns
  • Finances/budgeting
  • ASVAB training/military recruitment assistance

Testimonial

Thanks to St. Jude's I barely remember the last time I had to face a difficult situation and feel powerless about it. When I started PREP I was given a career and talent assessment. Between the assessment and working with Rit, I found that I was miserable in my job. Working together I remembered my childhood dream career and learned that it wasn't too late for me to make that change. It wasn't quick and easy, but was well worth the plans and effort I put into it. I am now so much happier, and this reflects in my day to day life with my family. I found true happiness and developed the self-confidence to face any challenge in the future. Thanks Rit
