Many residents are attempting to have Medical Marijuana in South Carolina legalized. The South Carolina Medical Marijuana Movements involves petitioning the Governor and General Assembly and the state to permit the licensed physicians to be allowed to prescribe medical marijuana. Today nearly 70% of Americans are in support of medical marijuana. A majority of arrests, in fact over 89% involve some sort of marijuana possession charges. Many residents of South Carolina feel as if money spent on the prosecution of marijuana criminal activity could be better spent on state wide safety and crime projects. Those who truly believe they need help often turn to Marijuana Rehab and Treatment Center in South Carolina.
