The Mountain Retreat has been closed for renovations. There will be exciting news in the upcoming months as we are developing new products and services to enhance our life changing program. Guest can continue to attend our Program at our Twin Rivers or Executive Retreat.
Tucked away deep in the heart of the Mountains, this retreat's location is perfect for someone who loves both nature and serenity. There is a stunning lake within walking distance and a breath-taking mountain view. There is a 3 1/2 mile walking or jogging course around the lake in addition to numerous hiking trails. Originally built in 1863, this retreat was formally a 19th century hotel for several years, in addition to hosting town meetings in the late 1800's. This historic building is now completely renovated and modernized and contains both private and semi-private bedrooms with Tempur-Pedic mattresses for maximum guest comfort. All dinners are served family style and guests are encouraged to request their favorite foods, or any special items to meet their dietary needs.
Classes are taught in small, inviting, sitting rooms, designed for both comfort and privacy. These rooms are equipped with modern audio and visual equipment to aid in the learning process. A computer is provided for guest use, or they may bring their own laptop or tablet as WiFi is available throughout the house. There are also flat screen televisions for guests to watch movies or their favorite television shows.
The Saint Jude Program is designed to show you the immense power you possess to direct the course of your life. As you move on in your life, when faced with a difficult challenge, a traumatic event, or deep emotional hurt, you will find that you have the mental ability to alter your actions, reactions, emotions, and thought patterns to overcome any experience in your life.

Naomi - Saint Jude Mountain Retreat GuestWhen I went to Saint Jude I was so broken, so selfish, and so uninformed. Broken paths and relationships everywhere. I thought I was a slave to medicating myself; and that in order to get sober would mean "white knuckling it" - I learned at St. Jude that it's simply a choice! I am responsible for my choices and actions. I learned how to have fun again sober... by doing things sober! My life is full of so much joy being in charge of my decisions! I highly recommend it to anyone that is struggling or that has a family member struggling with addiction.
