1 .Truly Confidential:

Traditional treatment programs and other non 12-step programs may claim to be confidential; however insurance companies provide claim data to medical information bureaus (MIB) which are searched for years after treatment by current or potential employers. A non-medical, social education program is not a part of any medical information database. You can attend our program under an alias if that makes you more comfortable. Many celebrities have come to our facility simply because we offer true confidentiality that no other program can provide.

2 .Highest Verified Success Rate in the Nation:

The JTP™ is the only program in the country that has independent outside research firms conducting our success rate surveys. (Click here for more information about Success Rates.)All other programs either conduct their own surveys, and/or do so in a manner that is misleading and often dishonest. These misleading surveys produce false hope and can lead to tragic results for you or your loved one. Our success rate is a documented, independently verified rate of 65% abstinence over a 14 year period of continuing semiannual surveys (28 surveys in total.)

The Saint Jude Retreat House™ offers the most cost effective substance abuse solution in Because we are a non-profit, non-medical, spiritual based, social education program, we do not have the overhead costs required by other programs, and this savings is passed on to you. While the average cost of other 12-step based and non 12-step based programs is $800.00 to $1,200.00 per day, we offer our program for less than one quarter of that cost, and our program is 42 days in length rather than the usual 28 days regulated by the health insurance reimbursement industry.

While other programs may state that they are non 12-step based, any facility or program that is disease based, or body addictive based, or uses support programs and support meetings for after care is a believer in the 12-step paradigm. 6. Warm, inviting, and non punitive approach:

The St. Jude Retreat Houses™, as you can see from the pictures, are relatively small facilities that cater to the individual. There is not a hospital like setting; there is no lock down policy. We do not treat our guests as patients or criminals because we know from research that you (or your loved one) are not addictively sick, but rather, that you have made poor choices, and are struggling. Each class is set up with no more than four students per instructor and individual attention is granted as requested. This personalized attention is unheard of in other facilities where the average of patient to counselor ratio is 18 to 1.
